In recent years, the research team of China Minmetals has made breakthroughs in intelligent mining technology, "column machine joint" beneficiation technology, efficient spheroidization equipment and technology, multi-source solid waste collaborative utilization, high-temperature continuous purification equipment and technology, sulfur free expandable graphite preparation technology, and static preparation technology of oxidized graphite.

At present, with the technical support of China Minmetals, Hegang City has built a green intelligent graphite mine with an annual output of 6 million tons and a graphite purification and processing center in Heilongjiang. The product has expanded from a single graphite powder and spherical graphite to various categories such as high-purity graphite, graphene powder, and graphene lubricating oil, and has developed into a large-scale graphite new material production base in China.
