Core concept of the product

 

Graphite Roll Material is made of high purity flake graphite through high temperature expansion and precision rolling process at 800-1000°C, with layered crystal structure. This design makes it have high thermal conductivity, chemical corrosion resistance and flexibility, which is very suitable for stable use in extreme environments such as high temperature, corrosion or strong mechanical stress.

  • Excellent thermal stability

    In oxidizing, reducing or vacuum environments, it can work normally in the temperature range of -200°C to 3000°C; in air at 670°C, the weight loss per hour is less than 2%, ensuring a long service life.

 

  • Chemical resistance

     It is resistant to acids, alkalis and solvents (pH value 0-14, except strong oxidants), and has a very low ash content (<0.15%), which meets the requirements of semiconductor grade purity.

 

  • Excellent mechanical properties

    Its compression rate is up to 35-55%, the creep relaxation rate is low (<12% at 670°C), and tight seal can be achieved on irregular surfaces; the built-in lubrication can reduce the wear in dynamic systems.

 

  • Customizable design

    Thickness is available in the range of 0.2-1.5 mm and density in the range of 0.7-1.95 g/cm³. For high-pressure applications, a metal reinforcement layer (e.g., 316/304 stainless steel) can be added.

Graphite Roll Material is essentially a continuous adhesive free roll formed by rolling high-purity expanded graphite. It is the most basic semi-finished substrate for sealing gasket factories, petrochemical MRO factories, and automotive exhaust gasket factories. It mainly solves three core pain points for customers: "inability to prefabricate standard gaskets", "sealing failure under high temperature corrosion conditions", and "out of stock irregular large flanges".

Cut circles with scissors/compasses according to the required OD/ID, drill installation holes, and directly install without mold fees or delivery time restrictions. MRO inventory only requires the preparation of roll materials.

The creep and relaxation of the gasket resulted in further tightening and production stoppage

When the density is 1.0 g/cm ³, the compression rate is 30-40%, and the rebound is ≥ 15%. It absorbs thermal expansion and contraction, and maintains a sealed pressure ratio.

Long delivery time/incomplete specifications for outsourced finished gaskets

1 roll of 1m × 50m can be cut to any size from Ø 50 to Ø 1000mm → Transfer the delivery time from external procurement to internal production, with strong MRO emergency capability.

Metal wrapped pads cannot be used on micro pressure/corrugated surfaces

Thin to 0.5mm, it can still bend and attach corrugated surfaces, glass lined flanges → fill micro unevenness.
