1. Product Core Positioning

Graphite Tape for Boiler Sealing is a sealing solution designed specifically for high-temperature, high-pressure, and complex medium environments in boilers. Its core function is to solve the problems of air and gas leakage in boiler flanges, furnace doors, flue interfaces, and other parts. At the same time, it can withstand long-term high-temperature aging, ensure boiler operation efficiency and safety, reduce energy loss and maintenance costs.

 

2. Core Product Features

(1)Excellent High Temperature Resistance Performance

Using high-purity flexible graphite substrate (carbon content ≥ 99.5%), it can work stably for a long time at -200 ℃~650 ℃ (up to 800 ℃ in non oxidizing environment), without high-temperature carbonization or cracking, and is suitable for temperature fluctuations during normal operation and start-up of boilers.

(2)Strong Sealing and Rebound Ability

The substrate is treated with special pressing technology, with a compression rebound rate of ≥ 45% (when the compression amount is 25%), which can tightly adhere to the small concave and convex defects of the sealing surface. Even under vibration, thermal expansion and contraction conditions during boiler operation, it can still maintain continuous sealing pressure with a leakage rate of ≤ 1×10⁻⁵ Pa·m³/s.

(3)Tensile Resistance and Structural Strengthening

Built in glass fiber, stainless steel foil or nickel alloy mesh reinforcement layer, with a tensile strength of ≥ 15 MPa, to avoid tearing and deformation caused by force during installation or use, while improving the resistance to medium erosion (such as boiler flue gas and steam erosion).

(4)Broad Spectrum Corrosion Resistance

Resistant to common media erosion in boilers, including saturated steam, high-temperature water, weakly acidic flue gas (pH ≥ 4), alkaline scale cleaning solution, etc., without dissolution or swelling, suitable for boilers of different fuel types such as coal, gas, biomass, etc.

(5)Convenient Installation and Adaptability

The product is a flexible roll material that can be cut according to the size of the sealing surface. Some models come with a high-temperature resistant self-adhesive coating (adhesion force ≥ 0.8 N/cm), which does not require additional adhesive coating. It is suitable for various sealing structures such as flat flanges and irregular interfaces (such as furnace door edges and flue expansion joints).

(6)Long Term Durability

Excellent anti-aging performance, service life under rated conditions ≥ 3 years, far more than traditional asbestos gaskets, ordinary rubber seals (service life is usually less than 1 year), reducing the frequency of downtime replacement.

3. Applicable Purpose

(1)Sealing of the Core Part of the Boiler

The flange interface between the boiler body and the flue and air duct (such as the inlet and outlet flanges of the economizer and air preheater);

Edge sealing of boiler doors, manhole doors, and inspection doors;

Sealing of connections between boiler drain valves, safety valves, and pipelines;

Flexible sealing of boiler expansion joints and pipelines (to be used in conjunction with a metal skeleton).
