The Graphite Sealing Cylinder Gasket is a core component centered around the sealing requirements of internal combustion engines, utilizing high-purity graphite as the key sealing material. It is designed for the complex working conditions of engines under high temperature and high pressure. Leveraging the excellent sealing and temperature resistance properties of graphite, it achieves complete isolation of combustion chamber gases, engine oil, and coolant, eliminating blow-by issues. This provides core support for stable power output, efficient operation, and longevity of engines, and is suitable for various types of engines such as fuel-powered and hybrid engines.

 

II. Core Features

1.Excellent Sealing and Temperature Resistance

High-density graphite with a purity of ≥99.5% is used as the sealing layer, paired with a low-carbon steel/304 stainless steel support layer. The graphite layer can closely fit the microscopic gaps of the sealing surface, maintaining sealing integrity under instantaneous high temperatures of 1800℃ and peak pressures of 25MPa. The blow-by rate is reduced by more than 65% compared to ordinary material cylinder gaskets, and it can withstand a long-term temperature range of -40℃ to 400℃ without performance degradation.

2.Strong Corrosion Resistance and Medium Resistance

Graphite itself has strong chemical stability. After special treatment, it can withstand long-term erosion from engine oil, ethylene glycol coolant, fuel, and combustion exhaust gas, without swelling or aging after immersion. At the same time, it is resistant to ultraviolet rays and ozone, and its sealing performance degradation rate is less than 3% under complex working conditions.

3.High Adaptive Compensation Capability

The graphite sealing layer has a compression rate of 18% to 22% and a rebound rate of ≥88%. It can automatically compensate for minor deformations of the cylinder block/head caused by temperature changes, as well as unevenness within 0.12mm of the sealing surface during installation. Reliable sealing can be achieved without the need for additional sealant, reducing assembly difficulty.

4.High Precision and Durability

Utilizing CNC laser cutting and precision stamping processes, the dimensional tolerance is controlled within ±0.015mm, ensuring a 100% match between the positioning holes and the engine. The graphite layer and support layer are integrally formed through high-temperature molding, eliminating the risk of delamination. After testing, the engine maintains a sealing pressure retention rate of ≥92% even after 12,000 consecutive starts and stops and 6,000 cumulative operating hours, extending the service life by 90% compared to traditional gaskets.

5.Environmental Protection and Ease of Installation

Graphite material meets RoHS and REACH environmental standards, with no harmful substances released. The edges of the sealing surface are rounded to prevent scratching the cylinder during installation, which can improve assembly efficiency by 30% and reduce manual operation errors.
